What does this icon show?
Bell with a top hanger and a clapper, for notifications, alerts and reminders. Typical uses: notifications dropdown trigger, alert bell in an app header and reminder settings toggle.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The bell trigger in an app header that opens the inbox popover, carrying the unread count
- Settings sidebar entries that lead to email, push and in-app channel choices
- A full page of mentions, replies and assignments for the signed in user, newest first
For a price, stock or threshold alert set on 1 record, use the Notification Bing icon. For the enabled side of an alerts toggle, or an alarm ringing right now, use the Notification On icon. For unread chat threads or a new DM in a team chat sidebar, use the Message Notify icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
