What does this icon show?
Chat bubble with three dots and a round badge at the top right, for unread alerts and new message indicators. Typical uses: unread messages indicator in navbar, new chat notification toggle and inbox button with pending replies.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Chat buttons in an app header that carry an unread dot until the newest reply is opened
- Chat widget launchers that show a dot when an agent replied while the panel was closed
- Unread filters in a messaging inbox, listing threads with replies nobody has opened
For unread project updates or handoff notes that are not a chat, use the Notification Status icon. For the header bell for mentions, invites and system alerts, use the Notification icon. For the full list of conversations, read and unread alike, use the Messages icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
