What does this icon show?
Ringing bell with curved arcs on both sides, for active notifications, alarms and enabled alerts. Typical uses: notifications enabled toggle, active alarm indicator and incoming alert state.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Watching state on a thread, repo or channel after the user opts in to every alert, in place of the plain bell
- Alarms and reminders going off now, as in a ringing reminder toast or a clock app
- Sound settings for app alerts, such as a chime on new messages, next to the volume slider
For the header trigger for the inbox of mentions, even while unread ones wait, use the Notification icon. For an incoming phone ring or a phone ringtone choice, use the Call icon. For a countdown or stopwatch running toward a set time, use the Timer icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
