What does this icon show?
Single chevron pointing left, for back navigation, previous page controls and carousel arrows. Typical uses: previous page in pagination, carousel previous slide button and back link in a mobile header.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The previous month stepper in a calendar or date picker header, beside the month name
- The back link in a mobile app bar or a drill down settings panel, beside the screen title
- The previous page step in a numbered pagination bar, after the first page control
For paging controls drawn with their own frame in a card shelf or dashboard card header, use the Left Square icon. For a back button in a full screen checkout or onboarding flow, use the Arrow Left icon. For a previous slide control floating over a photo, with no button around it, use the Circle Arrow Left icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
What icons go well with it?
