Two crossing diagonals with arrowheads pointing out to all four corners, for expand, fullscreen and resize. Typical uses: enter fullscreen on a video or chart, expand a card or modal to fill the screen and scale an element from its center on a canvas.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- A full screen toggle in the top corner of a video, chart or map card
- A lightbox toolbar control between previous and next that opens the photo full size
- A trailing expand button on a long text or code field that opens a larger editor
For maximizing a docked panel or a window inside the app layout, use the Maximize icon. For a resize grip or an in place grow toggle on a dashboard widget, use the Arrows Diagonal icon. For widening a docs page or a modal to full width, use the Chevrons Left Right icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
