What does this icon show?
Straight arrow pointing down with an open chevron head, for scroll down, move down and descending sort. Typical uses: scroll down hint on a landing page, move an item down in a ranked list and descending sort indicator on a table header.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Reorder controls that shift a row or layer 1 position lower, beside move up
- Next match buttons in a code editor's find widget, beside previous match
- Key hints in a command palette footer for stepping down through results
For downloading an attachment or a shared file to the device, use the Entrance Up icon. For a dropdown trigger, a select or a section that expands in place, use the Down icon. For a sort button or menu option that orders a list from high to low, use the Arrow Down Wide Narrow icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
