Two equal tall rounded rectangles side by side, for column layouts, split views and side by side panels. Typical uses: switch to a two column layout, split view side by side and compare two panels.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- A split right command in code and document editors that opens a second pane beside the first
- Compare views that set 2 versions of a contract, design or photo side by side in equal panes
For a page template with a narrow navigation column beside the content, use the Layout Sidebar Left icon. For a task board with a column of cards for each status, use the Kanban icon. For a 2 column section inside 1 page in a site or email builder, use the Layout Columns icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
