What does this icon show?
Padlock with three dots across its body, for password fields, PIN entry, masked values and secure login. Typical uses: password field prefix, PIN entry screen header and masked secret value indicator.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- App lock screens that guard a note, vault or banking app until the passcode is typed
- Password protected share links, where a viewer types the password before the file opens
- Secret rows in developer settings, such as a signing secret shown as dots until revealed
For a record frozen against edits, with no code for anyone to type, use the Lock icon. For access tokens listed with copy and revoke in each row, use the Key icon. For a feature held back until the plan is upgraded, use the Lock Circle icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
