What does this icon show?
Face with short hair inside four corner scan brackets, for facial recognition, biometric login and identity checks. Typical uses: facial recognition login prompt, biometric setup step and identity verification screen.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The face unlock option on a banking or wallet sign in screen, offered before the passcode
- Selfie match steps in identity verification, after the photo of the ID document
- Face enrollment entries in phone or app settings, where the camera maps the face
For touch ID on a laptop, or a phone with a sensor in its power button, use the Fingerprint Scanning icon. For the step that photographs a passport or a driver's license, use the Badge icon. For an avatar or account photo upload in settings, use the Profile Circle icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
