What does this icon show?
Eye crossed by a diagonal slash, for hide password toggles, hidden content and private visibility. Typical uses: hide password toggle, mask a sensitive field value and hidden from public indicator.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The hide toggle at the end of a password field once the characters are showing
- Hidden status on products, posts or pages kept out of public view but not deleted
- Column pickers in a table toolbar, marking the fields left out of the current view
For the reveal toggle while the value is still masked, use the Eye icon. For a private account or channel that only invited members can open, use the Lock icon. For the marker on a settings row whose secret value stays masked until revealed, use the Lock Dots icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
