Narrow rail beside two wide stacked rows, for sidebar layouts, settings pages and list and detail views. Typical uses: choose a sidebar with stacked sections, settings page layout preset and navigation rail template.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Mail client view settings, for the reading pane placed under the message list
- Settings templates with a section nav beside stacked groups of fields
- Developer tool presets with a file tree beside the editor stacked over the terminal
For dashboard presets with 2 square widgets beside a tall card, use the Layout Rail Tiles icon. For a docs page with a nav column beside 1 long article, use the Layout Sidebar Left icon. For top and bottom panes with no nav beside them, use the Row Horizontal icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
