What does this icon show?
Document page with a folded corner and two text lines, for text files, records and generic documents. Typical uses: open a text document, generic file attachment in a list and record detail link in a table.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Rows for written documents in a drive list, such as briefs, contracts and Markdown pages
- Docs sections in a workspace sidebar that open a list of written pages
- Recent documents lists on a home dashboard, each row reopening a written page
For a blank page, or an attachment of unknown type with no preview, use the File icon. For quick memos and meeting notes jotted down in a notes app, use the Notepad icon. For a batch of several documents shown as a single entry, use the Some Files icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
