What does this icon show?
Notepad with two binding rings on top and a plus in the center, for creating notes, memos and pages. Typical uses: new note button in a notes app, add a memo to a task card and create a page in a journal.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Quick capture buttons in a notes app bar that open a blank memo, ready to type
- Notes panels on a CRM contact, deal or ticket, adding another note to the record
- Meeting and call pages, starting a fresh set of notes for that session
For the notes page itself, or the sidebar entry that lists every saved memo, use the Notepad icon. For booking an event or meeting onto a date in a schedule, use the Calendar Add icon. For a new contract, report or spreadsheet saved to a shared drive, use the Add Files icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
