What does this icon show?
Diagonal line with arrowheads at both ends, bottom left to top right, for resize handles, scaling and expand controls. Typical uses: resize handle on a panel corner, expand a widget to full size and scale control in an image editor.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- A corner resize grip on a panel, text area or crop box that scales width and height together
- A scale control in an image or canvas editor toolbar, beside rotate left and rotate right
- An expand toggle on a dashboard widget that grows it in place without going full screen
For an external link marker beside a link that opens a new tab, use the Arrow Up Right icon. For a full screen toggle on a video, map or chart, use the Arrow Two Diagonals icon. For a column width handle that only drags sideways, use the Right Left icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
What icons go well with it?
