Signal - TanStack Start Product Analytics Template
newA product analytics workspace on TanStack Start: funnels, retention, feature adoption, a North Star map, a KPI scorecard, a gantt roadmap and customer accounts.
What is included
- Cycle-proof North Star map. Drag links between metrics, KPIs and initiatives; one that would close a loop never lands.
- Weights that add up. Thirty KPIs roll up through objectives and perspectives, and any set missing 100% reads amber.
- Funnels that only narrow. The cohort form rejects a stage wider than the one before it.
- Retention by cohort. Curves over 4, 8, 12 and 16 weeks sit above a cohort table whose edits reach the notes.
- Outages reach the campaigns. A failing ad account marks its campaigns as not syncing.
- A locked release gate. Drag and resize roadmap tasks, but nothing may overlap the locked Security review.
- Charts export as files. Funnels, Retention, Metrics and Features download the chart as a 2x PNG, or its data as CSV.
- Hand over by workload. Accounts' Hand Over suggests the teammate with the lightest open book.
Who it is for
- Adding product analytics to your app Funnels, Retention and Features each read one content file, which is what your API replaces.
- Replacing a quarterly goals deck The scorecard carries weighted KPIs with owners, thresholds and monthly change, and exports CSV.
- Demoing analytics before the pipeline exists The seeded X Ads failure shows on Home, on its campaigns and in notifications.
Frequently asked questions
Does it include a backend, and what happens to data I create?
No backend, no database and no API calls: each page starts from its feature's content file and holds changes in memory. Goals, the Settings team and notifications keep edits as you move around the app, every other page starts over when you leave it, and a full reload resets everything but the theme. grep -rn "BACKEND:" src lists the 30 places to load from or send to your API. Command-K searches the ten pages rather than records, and demo dates are pinned around Sep 29, 2026.
Does signing in actually do anything, or can anyone open the pages?
Anyone can open them. /sign-in is a magic link form that checks one demo email in auth-service.ts and refuses any other address, but no email is sent and nothing remembers the result: there is no session and no guard. The place for a guard is beforeLoad on the _app route. The Google, Apple and GitHub buttons only raise a toast saying they are not wired.
How is Signal different from Horizon, the other analytics template?
Horizon is marketing analytics on a Vite SPA: campaigns, channels, audiences and a budget editor. Signal is product analytics on TanStack Start with server rendering: funnels, retention, feature adoption and one metric in depth, under a North Star map and a KPI scorecard. Campaigns appear once in Signal, on Home, as the grid its data sources feed.
What do I get when I download a template?
The full source of a standalone project: every page, component, route, and style, ready to run locally. Templates are built entirely from ReUI blocks and components, so the code matches the registry you already use.
Do I need a plan to download templates?
Free templates only need a ReUI account, so sign in and download. Every other template is included with the Ultimate plan, alongside all blocks and Motion Icons.
Are templates sold individually?
No. Templates come with the Ultimate plan rather than as separate purchases, so one upgrade unlocks the whole catalog, including everything added later.
How do I install a template?
Download the source, install dependencies with your package manager, add your environment variables, and run the dev server. Each template ships a README with its own setup steps.
