What does this icon show?
Round sun with eight short rays, for sunny weather, light mode toggles and brightness controls. Typical uses: sunny condition in a weather widget, light mode toggle and screen brightness control.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The light choice in a theme menu, or the glyph a header toggle shows while dark mode is on
- Manual brightness sliders in display settings or on a smart lamp card, at the bright end
- Clear and sunny hours in an hourly forecast strip or a current conditions card
For a header theme button that keeps the same glyph in light and dark mode, use the Night Day icon. For a screen level that a light sensor sets on its own, with no slider, use the Auto Brightness icon. For partly cloudy or mostly sunny hours in a forecast strip, use the Sun Cloud icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
