What does this icon show?
Thumbs up hand with a cuff on the left, for upvotes, approvals, likes and positive feedback. Typical uses: upvote button on a post, approve action on a review and like counter in a toolbar.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Good response feedback under an AI assistant reply, beside the thumbs down for a bad one
- Helpful votes on comments, reviews and forum answers, with the count of readers who agreed
- Sign off votes on a design proof or an interview scorecard, 1 per reviewer
For activity rows saying a person gave your comment or answer a thumbs up, use the Message Like icon. For likes on a photo, post or product card, where the count is public, use the Heart icon. For upvotes that rank feature requests or roadmap ideas by their count, use the Up Square icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
