Small waste bin with a handled lid inside a rounded square, for delete actions in toolbars, cards and grids. Typical uses: delete action in a table row, remove a card on a kanban board and discard a tile in a gallery grid.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- A boxed delete tile on card corners, image thumbnails and kanban cards that need a framed target
- Toolbars of framed square buttons, such as a media gallery or photo editor bar
For a plain delete entry in a menu or at the end of a table row, use the Trash icon. For closing a panel or deselecting a tile without deleting anything, use the Cross Square icon. For removing a document from an upload list or attachment set, use the Delete Files icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
