What does this icon show?
Checkmark inside a rounded square, for checked checkboxes, completed tasks and selected rows. Typical uses: checked checkbox in a settings list, select all rows toggle in a table and completed task in a checklist.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Custom checkboxes in settings lists and table rows, drawn in the checked state
- Select all controls in a table header once every row is chosen
- Ticked to-do blocks in docs and notes, like a done task in a markdown checklist
For a success or completed status badge outside any form, use the Check Circle icon. For a header checkbox while only some of the rows are selected, use the Minus Squared icon. For the selected option in a single choice menu or combobox, use the Check icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
