What does this icon show?
Plus sign of two crossing strokes, for adding a new item, creating a record and increasing a value. Typical uses: add a new row in a data table, create a new record button and increase quantity in a cart stepper.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The leading glyph in labeled create buttons such as New project or New invoice
- Increment steppers on quantity inputs, opposite a matching minus
- Zoom in controls stacked above zoom out on a map, chart or canvas
For a medical, first aid or health marker on a card or map, use the Plus Outline icon. For a standalone round add control with no text beside it, use the Plus Circle icon. For inviting a person to a team or workspace, use the Add User icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
