What does this icon show?
Magnifying glass with a round lens and handle to the lower right, for search, zoom and find actions. Typical uses: search bar trigger button, zoom in on an image or map and find in page action in a toolbar.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- A leading addon inside search fields and command palette inputs
- A search toggle in a site header or app bar that expands into a query field
- Find and replace commands in a text or code editor, opened from a toolbar or shortcut
For an advanced query panel that narrows results by fields and criteria, use the Filter Search icon. For a sidebar or menu entry that looks only through the documents in a drive, use the File Search icon. For a lookup by waybill number for an order or shipment, use the Parcel Tracking icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
What icons go well with it?
