What does this icon show?
Clapperboard with a striped top band and a play triangle inside, for videos, film catalogs and short clips. Typical uses: video gallery nav item, short clips tab in a feed and film catalog section header.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- The Videos tab of a creator profile or a media library that holds uploaded clips and trailers
- Film and series listings in a cinema ticketing app or a streaming catalog
- A video block in a page or email builder's insert panel, beside image and sticker blocks
For a channel link or an embedded player from Google's video sharing site, use the YouTube icon. For a playlist, a course of many lessons or a channel subscriptions list, use the Video Stack icon. For the start control centered on a single clip's thumbnail, use the Play Circle icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
What icons go well with it?
Picture and Symbols Grid sit beside it in the same toolbar or menu. More from the same family and the Media set: Aperture, CD, Circle Play and Disk.
When was it added, and what was it called before?
It joined the ReUI icon library on August 6, 2026. It was previously named box-play-lines-2, and that install name still resolves to this icon.
