What does this icon show?
Teardrop map pin with a circle in its head, for addresses, store locations and GPS coordinates. Typical uses: address field prefix in a checkout form, store locator result marker and GPS coordinate display on a card.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Address lines on store, venue and event cards, under the name and above the hours
- Map markers for search results and listings, 1 pin per place with the selected pin enlarged
- Location fields in event and job posting forms, where a place is typed or picked
For the address where the user lives, saved as the default for deliveries, use the Geolocation Home icon. For finding a lost phone, or sharing a live position from a mobile app, use the Telephone Geolocation icon. For keeping a message or note at the top of a list, use the Pin icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
