Bootstrap icon FAQ
What does this icon show?
Letter B in a badge with curly brace sides, the Bootstrap logo, for CSS framework tags and tech stack chips. Typical uses: CSS framework tag in docs, UI library dependency badge and frontend tech stack chip.
When should I use it instead of a similar icon?
Use it for:
- Framework filters on a theme or template marketplace, for kits built on Bootstrap
- Dependency rows and version badges for Bootstrap in a package audit or upgrade report
- Docs tabs that show the Bootstrap markup of a component beside its other framework ports
For a B toggle for strong emphasis in a formatting toolbar, before italic, use the Text Bold icon. For stylesheet chips and plain style file badges in a code viewer, use the CSS icon. For column count and gutter settings for a section in a page builder or theme editor, use the Layout Columns icon.
Which styles does it come in?
4 styles: Outline, Solid, Duotone and Filled. Every style is drawn on the same 24 by 24 grid and installs as its own file, so you can switch styles without touching the layout.
How do I install it with the shadcn CLI?
Copy the install command from the panel above, in the style you want, and run it in your project. The shadcn CLI adds the icon as a React component that you import and render like any other. It draws in the current text color, so your text color and size classes style it. Icon installs need a ReUI Ultimate license.
What icons go well with it?
When was it added?
It joined the ReUI icon library on June 30, 2026.
