# Canary Analysis block

> Live canary health panel with release against baseline error rate and latency charts

Live canary analysis for a deploy: a verdict Badge, release vs baseline error rate, p95, p99 and rpm stats, and 2 streaming Recharts charts. Both mark the limit and traffic steps; Promote and Roll back confirm in an AlertDialog. Rollout health.

- Type: Pro block
- Category: [Composed Chart](https://reui.io/blocks/chart/composed-chart.md)
- Page: https://reui.io/blocks/chart/composed-chart/chart-36
- MCP: `get_block("chart-36")`
- Built with: Alert Dialog, Badge, Button, Dropdown Menu, Empty, Frame, Spinner
- Installs with a ReUI Pro or Ultimate license; setup: https://reui.io/docs/license-setup

## Best for

A live canary streaming 2 release against baseline charts that holds at a Promote gate, with Pause, Roll back and a CSV export

## Agent notes

- Replace `DEPLOYMENT`; `healthSeries` fabricates buckets from its `analysis` means with a fixed wobble, and a `setInterval` demo clock streams them
- `RunCommands` `pause`, `resume`, `promote`, `rollBack` and `redeploy` only flip local state and fire a `toast`; call your deploy API in each
- `verdictOf` judges only the newest bucket against `errLimit` and `p95Limit`, so one noisy bucket flips the verdict Badge

## When not to use

- A finished release read after the fact, with no live stream or actions: use [Canary Rollback](https://reui.io/blocks/chart/composed-chart/chart-37.md) (`get_block("chart-37")`)
- A whole release console with lanes, a deploy history grid and streaming logs: use [Deployments](https://reui.io/blocks/solutions/dev-ops/solution-dev-ops-3.md) (`get_block("solution-dev-ops-3")`)

## Install

```bash
npx shadcn@latest add @reui/chart-36
```

## About Composed Chart blocks

### When to use

- A primary series as a filled area with a goal, baseline or forecast traced as lines on the same axis
- Release health against a baseline, with limit lines and a marker where a rollback happened

### When not to use

- One volume series alone, with no goal or baseline to compare against: use the [Area Chart blocks](https://reui.io/blocks/chart/area-chart.md)
- Two or more series drawn only as strokes across shared time buckets: use the [Line Chart blocks](https://reui.io/blocks/chart/line-chart.md)

### Agent notes

- Areas and lines share one `ComposedChart`, so a new series goes in as an `Area` or a `Line` child with its own `dataKey`

Every ReUI item has a twin like this one; the index is https://reui.io/llms.txt. Agents with the ReUI MCP (https://reui.io/docs/mcp) get the same guidance from the getters named above.
